09/18: FALSE DEBT COLLECTION: THERE SIMPLY IS NO DEBT TO COLLECT. CONTACT VIA PHONE (LAND LINE) AND POST CARD-STYLE MAILINGS

09/25: Received postcard in mail for "credit card hardship program" asking me to call 888 827 9288 to take advantage of "zero up-front fees debt reduction program". It provided a "benefit ID#", which is probably my file number. No company name or address is listed anywhere on the card. I also noticed that my benefit status ("eligibile") was mispelled. I do have a medical debt out there, so I am fairly sure this is a collection attempt...sort of the way cops send out prizewinner notices to get crooks to show up.

11/26: I received the exact same postcard, but I do not have any medical debt. So, I don't believe they are attempting to collect your debt. They are offering me a loan to consolidate my credit cards. Very tempted to call except that they didn't identify themselves.

01/23: got a post card in the mail with this number on it to call that i had been preapproved for zero up-front fees bedt reduction program. My husband inquired with a financial institution about getting a consolodation loan and ever since then we get calls, mail etc. regarding this. They have access to your credit report. Thru the card away. this is just another scam.

07/05: did not call just got a postcard in the mail about debt

02/10: Received postcard in mail for "credit card hardship program" asking me to call 888 827 9288 to take advantage of "zero up-front fees debt reduction program". No company name or address is listed anywhere on the card. Found on another site:The company sending the cards is National Settlement Services. The website is www.nssfl.com. I don't trust any mail that doesn't even have a company name in or on it. P.S. notice that is states "estimated payment-they may not be able to save you anything.
